The 24 volt 3.5 amp XLR battery charger by Universal Power Group (UPG) is one of the very best values in an all-around XLR charger with a broad range of mobility applications.

This three stage mobility scooter battery charger comes with an automatic shutoff feature. It is also worth noting that this 24 volt charger is equipped with a safety feature which prevents it from charging batteries that are under 13.2 volts.

LED lights indicate battery charge level as follows:
A. POWER LED (RED color LED):

  • Red - Power On - connected to wall outlet
  • No light - Power Off - charger is not connected to wall outlet


B. CHARGING LED (Red/Flashing Green/Green color LED):

  • Red LED on - Fast Charge (steps 1 and 2)
  • Green flashing LED - Float Charge  (step 3)
  • Green solid LED - Battery is fully charged
  • No light - No battery connected or battery voltage less than 9 volts

Use this charger for 12Ah - 35Ah (U-1) batteries
